The merit contracting community must discourage the USACE from placing a PLA preference or mandate on the Fort Hood VOLAR III - 39000 Block Barracks and CEP Renovations. To learn about the proposed PLA, visit this link. You may also view a sample letter in which you can voice your opposition to such PLA.
Ways you can make a differnce:
1) Email a "Letter to the Editor" to the Editor of your local publications.
2) Ask your State Represenative and Senator to introduce legislation promoting free enterprise and open competition to ensure accountability to citizens and ratepayers.
3) Ask your Federally elected officials to support the Government Neutrality In Contracting Act (HR 983 or S 90).
